Every time I walk into my kitchen I look up at this clock expecting to see what time it is. But then I look back to the oven clock to see the real time. So, for the past 7 months it's been 12:14:43It's just a small reminder that time doesn't stop, but the things we create to tell time do.
I once didn't correct the time in my car for a whole year when the clocks changed - I liked the way it made me think about time every time I got into the car...
We have clocks all over the house and they're all different! My husband sets his bedside clock an hour and a half ahead, cause he thinks he can sleep in?!?! I never know what time it is cause he's got his own system. As for me five mins ahead is good enuf. Thanks for the nice break in my day and thanks for the follow. Aloha, monica
hmm, I do the same thing in the car. I don't change it, and always think about what time it was before daylight savings....speaking of which I don't understand...nobody else really does it and what daylight are we saving? Anyway, first timer here, nice blog :)
truly enjoy this blog...and the clock thing..totally have the same thing happen to me. and i wonder what that's all about. do i want time to stop??? that is crazy because the answer for me is no. but sometimes that same clock for me just cracks me up every time i think about my stubborness NOT to change the batteries
