I shot this a few months back as I was leaving New York to go home and visit the family.
I applied a tint effect to some of the video at 10% opacity to give it some color and change throughout. Below are screenshots of the video within Final Cut Pro.

Free Texture Pack 05 - The Walk To The Subway - Part 1

So every day on the way to and from work I walk about 8 blocks to the N/W train in Astoria, Queens, NYC. Here is a collection of 10 textures that you can use. I took several images of leaves on the sidewalks/streets. My favorite is #48 because of the random carnation lying in the middle of the sidewalk. The preview images that you see below are 400 x 300px and the images inside the zip file are 1600 x 1200px. Let me know what you think. More to come soon.

We Live In Helvetica

After watching Helvetica - A documentary film by Gary Hustwit, I started to realize how much Helvetica I see per day. From the subway signs, inside the subway, inside the actual train, street signs, and storefronts all over the city use Helvetica. We can thank Max for that. I wonder what the next global type will be. Any ideas?

Hometown

Obama Commercial = On Times Square Jumbotron!! :)

I edited the behind the scenes of the Obama Commercials this year and they are now being played in Times Square (Between 48th and 49th on Broadway)
Video Release tomorrow at the Jumbotron at 10:30AM with Rosie Perez and Media. @Melfi is in the commercial as well. :)

Mtv Rockband Commercials

I worked inside Integrated Studios doing various edits and I was asked to help on set of Mtv Rockband's Xbox commercial and Mtv Rockband's Wii commercial. It was a 2 day shoot in the Tribeca area of Manhattan. I edited my version of the commercial. screen-capture. :)
