How Designers Use Posterous

I just noticed that I'm in an article called "Posterous: Simple Way to Share...everything" by Linda Goin. Here are the screen-captures of some of the article. There a lot of different ways that we can use Posterous, my account is mostly to show my work, interviews, and articles I'm in, etc. I don't usually post any random photos or links to anyone elses work on my Posterous account. That's what I use Twitpic and Twitter for. Overall there are many different ways to use Posterous, do what you feel makes sense to you. :)

I'm also in this article about Twitter Rules To Abide and Question.

I agree: use Posterous in whatever way makes sense to you! I really like the choices when posting by email. That is, emailing blog@posterous if you just want to post to your blog, or twitter+facebook@posterous, etc.

I've even started another Posterous account for a festival that I am involved in. Posterous offers ease of use and a great choice of all the file types that I need to share.

I am new to Posterous but already loving it. Your writing style becomes more casual and to the point when composing an e-mail. That makes posting to Posterous all the more wonderful

Very nice :) I'm new to posterous as well and I didn't have a single problem getting used to this platform. I like it because there is still a lot to come down the road.

:) Ya, Posterous has already proven that they listen to their users and they have a very fast turnaround on new features. I like how we can't customize it. Simple is better.

As a newcomer to this site, and as a graphic designer, I like the way it looks: uncluttered, clean and elegantly laid out.
I'll be using it more, no doubt. Oh - and Hi, everybody.

I am with you there for sure. Simple and clean draws in attention to the content/subject at hand.

Yeah I hope they don't implement themes, but they probably will to satisfy the masses :-(. If you are an amazing artist, it will show through on a scribbled napkin.

It's the untalented people that need PERFECT themes to showcase mediocre work so they can stay employed.

Another artist pointed this out to me, it was eye opening when he said it. Services like this are really about the content, not the container!

Ah I love it, everything you just said there is 100% true. I can't agree more. I really hope they will leave an option for "classic" theme so I can keep mine how it is.
