Haha thanks. :) It's funny how we associate certain colors with gender. I use the color pink in a lot of my designs. Sometimes it's not visible because of the massive amount of layers, but overall it's a color I use a lot. Mostly because it pops.
Let me ask you something, is it possible to create a effect like the one used in cut away scenes from "The Jacket" they are composed of layers of moth/butterfly like wings giving it a very organic appearance. Aside from scanning wings and killing these insects how can I achieve this...thanks advance for your wisdom.
There are a few images of moths/butterflies out there. If you find one you like you can alter it in Photoshop to your likings, then import it into After Effects, create 1 composition that has the moth/butterfly going from point A to point B. Then drag that composition into a new composition and duplicate the layers as many times as you like. Say you have 10 layers of this same composition, move each so they aren't exactly the same. This will give an effect of a massive amount of moths/butterflies moving from point A to point B.
Sidenote: You can also change the scale from point A to point B in the original composition so it looks as if the moths/butterflies are coming towards the screen.
